(Stefan Aufenanger) Diese Arbeit soll neue Medien im Religionsunterricht und das Thema Weltreligionen nicht nur im Einzelnen darstellen, beschreiben und erlautern, sondern beide Themengebiete im Zusammenhang betrachten und bewerten. Dabei wird zunachst auf die 5 Weltreligionen und die neuen Medien eingegangen, worauf die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit den neuen Medien Film, Internet und Computer/CD-ROM beim Thema Weltreligionen folgen, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf dem Medium CD-ROM und dessen Einsatz im Unterricht beim Thema Weltreligionen liegt. Vor einer abschliessenden Bewertung werde ich auf die Anwendung der CD-ROM an meiner Schule, sprich die Rahmenbedingungen, Planung und Durchfuhrung eingehen, wobei die Lehrerfunktionen Unterrichten und Innovieren das Schlusslicht bilden. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf den Vor- und Nachteilen von neuen Medien im Religionsunterricht in Klasse 8 an einer Realschule (wobei aber auch Klasse 6 oder 10 in Frage kommen, da das Thema Weltreligionen immer wieder vertiefend wiederholt und behandelt wird und die CD-ROMs in allen Klassenstufen sowie Schulformen angewendet werden konnen), wobei ich mich auf die Medien Film, Internet und abschliessend auf das Medium CD-ROM beschranke. Das Augenmerk richtet sich in dieser Arbeit auf das Medium CD-ROM als Konzept fur den PC-Einsatz in der Schule, wobei zwei verschiedene CD-ROMs nebeneinander verglichen und bewertet werde

Many teens today who use the Internet are actively involved in participatory cultures -- joining online communities (Facebook, message boards, game clans), producing creative work in new forms (digital sampling, modding, fan videomaking, fan fiction), working in teams to complete tasks and develop new knowledge (as in Wikipedia), and shaping the flow of media (as in blogging or podcasting).
